Winner of the 2026 Pride of Medway School Community Award

We’re incredibly proud to share that Twydall Primary School was named the winner of the 2026 Pride of Medway School Community Award at the Pride of Medway Awards ceremony. Mrs Hardie and Mrs Wilson attended the event and were delighted to accept the award on behalf of the whole school community. This category celebrates schools across Medway that go the extra mile to support their local community. A huge thank you to our staff, pupils, families, and wider community for their continued support—this achievement belongs to all of you.

Kent Education Awards 2026

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that two members of staff from Twydall Primary School received awards at the prestigious Kent Education Awards. Mrs Smith was awarded Early Career Teacher of the Year, with the judges acknowledging her outstanding work in Phonics. Miss Friend was received two awards, winning both the Medway and Kent overall winner for Inclusive Practice. We are so proud to have our wonderful staff recognised at the ceremony and delighted that they are part of our school community. Congratulations!

Intent: what are we trying to achieve with our curriculum?

Our curriculum aims to motivate pupils and inspire their CURIOUSITY so they have a “thirst for learning”.  We aim to develop the whole child and safeguard their HAPPINESS through providing opportunities to develop social and emotional skills.
